Louis T. Leonowens (Thailand) Limited has a long history and a good relationship with Thai society. In this regard, our company has given priority to helping society in various fields by participating in donate money and equipment for various organizations throughout the country as follows,

For the Education, our company recognizes the importance of education, especially the education of young people with knowledge and ability but has poverty-stricken. The company has established an education fund to support educational assistance for youth

Nowadays, the company has set up the scholaship under the name of Louis T. Leonowens (Thailand) Limited for 3 universities nationwide.

  1. Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University.
  2. Faculty of Architecture, Khon Kaen University.
  3. Maejo Unoversity; by authorizing the university to manage the fund and bring out the income that are distributed as scholarships to students who has outstanding academic performance and behave well but has poverty-stricken according to the rules of the university.

For the Medical care, our company donated many medical equipment to the Thai Red Cross for use in the treatment of their patients.

For the Agriculture, our company donated a crocodile brand’s hoe and donated money to buy agricultural equipment for The Chaipattana Foundation to support general farmers which is one of an important occupation of the Thai people.

Our MD., Mr. Bruce Metclafe offer the money to be spent at Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s judgment

In additional, our company has provided assistance in various fields for many organizations on occasion including the donation of the timbers in 1920 for the renovation of the Sao Ching Cha (The Giant Swing), considered one of the most important landmarks in Thailand to be in memorial to Mr. Louis, the founder of Louis T. Leonowens (Thailand) Limited. The Giant Swing has since been the logo of Louis T. Leonowens (Thailand) Limited, symbolizing our heritage.
